GER  Es ist momentan überall und ich liebe es! Weiß. Einige sind total besessen von der schwarzen Farbe aber ich... Ich bleibe bei weiß! Weiß war bisher immer meine Lieblingsfarbe - nun werden einige schreien, dass es keine Farbe ist aber wie dem auch sei, es bleibt dabei. Es ist so erfrischend, stilvoll, schön und toll zum Kombinieren. Ich freue mich total euch bald meinen "all-white-everything look" zu zeigen, denn momentan finde ich es besonders toll gleiche Textile und Farben zu tragen und das möchte ich euch natürlich nicht vorenthalten. ENG  It's everywhere this season and I love it. White! Some people are obsessed with black and me.. I'm obsessed with white! White is my all time favorite color. Oh well, some of you might say it's not a color, anyway, I just love it. It's refreshing, classy, beautiful to wear and great to combine. Can't wait to show you all my "all-white-everything look". GER  Wie die meisten sicherlich gemerkt haben, mag ich einfache Looks. Vor allem muss ich auch mal ein Geständnis abgeben:
"Ich bin ein Jeans-Girl!".Was ist ein Jeans-Girl? Eine Frau, die Jeans in jeder Variation liebt und das ist bei mir wirklich kein Scherz. Während viele Frauen Röcke und Kleider lieben, bleibe ich meist bei der herkömmlichen Jeans! Abgesehen davon, dass sie einen tollen Po zaubern, muss ich mir keine Sorgen machen, wie ich mich hinsetze oder ob etwas hochrutscht, etc. Viele Gedanken, die ich ausblenden und einfach toll aussehen kann. Bequem kann sexy sein, auch wenn ich zugeben muss, dass diese Heels alles andere als bequem sind - aber ich liebe sie und sie sehen toll aus also lächle ich den Schmerz einfach weg! Whoop! ENG  I'm sure most of you already noticed that I'm loving simple looks. Besides that, there is something I need to confess: "I'm a Jeans-Girl!". What's a Jeans-Girl? A woman who loves to wear Jeans in all its variations and actually I'm really not joking. While most women love to wear skirts and dresses, I always end up wearing Jeans! There are super comfy and I really don't need to care how to sit (if someone is trying to see my panties) - speaking of comfy - those heels are actually killing me but they're super sexy and beautiful, so I really don't care. GER  Wenn die Sonne in der Schweiz scheint, sollte man dies immer ausnutzen, denn man weiss ja nie wann sie sich wieder verabschiedet. Vor einigen Tagen hatte ich endlich mal die Gelegenheit meine neuen und schönen Militär-Vans auszuführen. Zwar schien die Sonne aber etwas kühl war es trotzdem, daher noch der tolle Pulli von Roxy! Den Pulli hatte ich ganz spontan in Orlando gekauft und bin total zufrieden - preiswert aber tolle Qualität. Geniesst diesen schönen Sonntag ihr Lieben und bis zum nächsten Mal. Muaah, Leisy

ENG Sunny and beautiful weather is very rare in Switzerland, therefore one should always take advantage of that. The other day I had the opportunity to wear my new comfy military-vans - I really love them. It was sunny but a little bit windy therefore I wore my lovely jumper from Roxy. Wer die Sonne, tolles Essen und chillige Menschen liebt (!) muss unbedingt eine Florida-Tour machen. Wir waren zwar ca. zehn Tage dort aber durch unsere tolle Planung, haben wir Vieles sehen und erleben können und es war wirklich unvergesslich! Es ging von Miami City nach Key West, Orlando, Fort Lauderdale und schlussendlich nach Miami Beach. Da wir uns einen Mustang mit Navi gemietet hatten, waren wir sehr flexibel und konnte alle Destinationen ohne Probleme erreichen. Wir mussten recht oft fahren und erst dann ist uns bewusst geworden, wie gross dieser Staat wirklich ist, denn für jedes Ziel mussten wir ca. drei bis fünf Stunden einplanen. Im Gegensatz zu New York sind die Menschen in Miami viel gelassener aber freundlich waren beide Orte für uns. Kulturell gesehen hat mir Miami mehr gefallen, da ich mich oft wie Daheim fühlte - alles war recht tropisch und es gab viele lateinamerikanische Restaurants, die in mir oft Heimwehgefühle hervorruften. Abgesehen von unserem versifften (nun können wir auch darüber lachen! LOL) Motel im Miami City waren wir mit allen anderen Hotels zufrieden :-) Überzeugt euch selbst, muaah. Leisy

 

TRANSLATION   If you love the sun, great food and outgoing people (!) you need to do a Florida-Tour. We were in Florida for about ten days but we've planned everything very thoughtful and therefore we had the opportunity to see and experience a lot of  unforgettable things during this short periof of time. We started in Miami City to Key West, Orlando, Fort Lauderdale and finally Miami Beach. Since we´ve rented a Mustang, we were very flexible and could therefore reach any of our desired destiantions. However, travel time was always about three to five ours and that's when we´ve noticed how huge this state really is. I liked New York a lot but I do prefer Miami! I loved the people and I really felt like home there. There were a lot of Latin-American restaurants and people which was really great for me. Besides of  our grotty (we can laugh about it now! LOL) motel in Miami City we were very satisfied with our other hotels and would recommend all of them. Enjoy the pics, muaah. Leisy

new york, new york - I love you!

 

Es ist ja kein Geheimnis, dass ich total hin und weg war und immer noch bin von New York. Eine solche Stadt habe ich in meinen jungen Jahren noch nie gesehen bzw. erlebt. Meiner Meinung nach ist es eine Stadt, die man gesehen haben muss. Reizüberflutung pur! Wir waren ca. eine Woche dort und danach ging es nach Florida aber dazu in einem anderen Post mehr. Unser Hotel war im schönen und gehobenen Manhattan - TRIBECA GRAND HOTEL - Tolles Ambiente, super Service und köstliches Essen. Wir waren auf jeden Fall sehr zufrieden, denn es ist wirklich zu empfehlen! Wir haben in New York auch viel shoppen können und hatten wirklich Glück, dass wir in der Sale-Saison dort waren. Überall waren viele Shops, Restaurants, Attraktionen - für jeden gab es etwas. Zum Ausgehen ist die Stadt auch super - die Clubs sind schön, die Leute gut drauf und die Getränke haben es in sich :-) Alle diese Punkte kamen uns sehr gelegen, da wir auch Neujahr dort gefeiert haben und das war ein tolles Ereignis sag' ich euch. Wenn ihr dort seid rechnet mit überschwängliche Amerikaner (was ich persönlich erfrischend fand, mal was anderes als die grimmigen Gesichter hier..), viele Touristen, sehr hilfsbereite Menschen, tolle Attraktionen (Achtung! Langes Anstehen berechnen), günstiges und wirklich gutes Essen (riesige Portionen und um günstige Lokale zu finden, sollte man nicht grade am Times Square suchen). Viel Bla, Bla.. überzeugt euch selbst! Muaah, Leisy

TRANSLATION It's clearly not a secret that I'm totally amazed by New York. I've never been to such a city before. I've seen and experienced so much during our stay and everything was just overwhelming. This city is a must-see in my opinion. Totally overstimulation! We were almost a week in New York before we headed to Florida. Our hotel was in beautiful and sophisticated Manhattan - TRIBECA GRAND HOTEL - Great ambience, high-class service and delicious food. We were very satifstified and it was totally worth the money, I would always recommend it! Since we were there as from the End of December to January we could go shopping like crazy. You could find shops, restaurants and attractions everywhere. This city is also perfect for clubbing and we loved it there for New Year's Eve :-) We've met a lot of funny and very nice people, amazing attractions, favourable and good food. Well, if you're looking for something cheaper you should try it outside Times Square or just New York itself. Enough now... See for yourself guys! Muaah Leisy

new beginnings and first impressions

 

Es fühlt sich gut an wieder zu schreiben, vor allem nach dieser langen Zeit. Es ist zwar spät aber ich wünsche euch allen trotzdem ein GUTES NEUES JAHR mit tollen Überraschungen und Erfahrungen. Einige haben sich bereits gefragt, wo ich stecke aber ich hatte zum Glück ganz tolle Gründe dafür. Ich war nämlich zum ersten Mal in den USA! Es ging zuerst nach New York und dann Florida. Ich habe Vieles erlebt, gesehen und vor allem gegessen - also gibt es auch Einiges zu berichten. Wie ihr auch sehen könnt, hat sich auf meinem Blog bzw. mein Design auch Vieles verändert bzw. verbessert. Mir gefällt es sehr gut, euch auch? Der lieben Julia habe ich dies zu verdanken! TRANSLATION  As you can see MAC Cosmetics is the brand leader when it comes to my makeup collection. I've bought most of these products during our trip in Paris. The variety of makeup in Paris was amazing, the range was way bigger than in Germany or Switzerland. I got a lot of questions regarding my makeup collection and my favourite makeup brand, so this post is for everyone who asked. I really don't have a favourite makeup brand, however, I feel like MAC is amazing when it comes to variety of tones and pigmented blushes/eyeshadows. Drugstore products are fine but my experiences were mostly bad, that's why I really don't buy a lot of such products. Only drugstore brands I can recommend are Revlon or Maybelline New York. I have very dry skin, so everything I buy is very moisturising and light. I'm using these products lately (picture) and a "Get Ready With Me-Video" will follow asap. Wie ihr bereits sehen könnt, ist MAC Cosmetics der Marktführer, wenn es um meine Make-Up Sammlung geht. Als wir in Paris waren, konnte ich mir sehr viele goodies kaufen und ein Teil davon seht ihr hier. Die Auswahl in Paris war auf jeden Fall viel größer als in der Schweiz und auch Deutschland und da machte das Shoppen noch mehr Spaß. Immer wieder haben viele gefragt, was ich für Make-Up benutze oder ob ich eine Lieblingsmarke habe und nun hier der langersehnte Post. Die Frage wird sicherlich auftauchen, deshalb komme ich euch zuvor. Ja, ich mag High-End Produkte lieber aber nur, weil ich bei den Drogerieprodukte nie wirklich fündig geworden bin und auch mein perfekter Ton, fast oder gar nie zu finden ist. Allerdings hatte ich bereits gute Erfahrungen mit Revlon oder Maybelline New York - ich denke man muss einfach etwas länger suchen um das richtige zu finden. Da ich trockene Haut habe, sind die meisten Produkte, die ich benutze sehr feuchtigskeitsspendend und leicht. Meistens habe ich auch keine flüssig Foundation, sondern cremige, da mir gesagt wurde, dass es besser sei bei trockener Haut. Die obigen Produkte verwende ich momentan und ein Video folgt bald.
